About Shine a Light

Shine a Light on Lung Cancer provides our amazing community with hope, inspiration and support for those impacted by lung cancer and those at risk—from survivors to the newly diagnosed to loved ones to healthcare professionals to those simply wanting to help. You will learn about the groundbreaking advances for survival. You will be inspired by your time with lung cancer survivors and their families. And we hope all in attendance will realize they are not alone and there are people who care.

Through Shine a Light, people are able to experience a growing community of supportive and caring individuals. The lighting of the flashlights to honor survivors and loved ones is the highlight of the evening. Shine a Light is a free event open to all. Consider hosting a Shine a Light in your area or attending one already taking place! Together, we are making a difference.

The 8th Annual Shine a Light on Lung Cancer events will take place throughout the month of November 2016!
