Join University of Wisconsin-La Crosse students and Gundersen Lutheran Hospital for a unique lung cancer awareness event. Along with a family ice fishing tournament, the event will feature a number of unique family friendly winter contests such as an Snowman Contest, 7 on 7 Snow Football and many others. Join lung cancer patients, survivors, doctorcs, family and friends to help raise awareness for the disease. Held at the Cancer Survivors Park in Downtown San Diego, this 5K walk will raise awareness and funds to support Lung Cancer Alliance's unique mission: leading the movement to reverse decades of stigma and neglect by empowering patients, elevating awareness and changing health policy.
Every dollar you raise will help sustain our patient support, awareness and advocacy programs, leveraging multiple millions in public health dollars that we are securing for lung cancer research, treatment, and early detection.
