Ablation Therapies
- Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA): uses radio waves to heat up needles which are inserted into tumors and destroys them.
- Cryoablation: Uses liquid nitrogen or argon gas to freeze tumors. Approved for treatment of other cancers, in clinical trials for lung cancer.
