LCA-GA Advocates Meet with Governor Sunny Perdue

Receive the Official Proclamation Declaring November 2010 Lung Cancer Awareness Month in Georgia

LCA-GA chapter submitted the application in January 2010 to Governor Perdue’s office requesting that November 2010 be recognized as Lung Cancer Awareness Month in the State of Georgia. For the sixth straight year the request was approved!  On May 27, 2010, LCA-GA Co-Directors Ed and Linda Levitt, along with key medical professionals and lung cancer advocates were invited to the Governor's office for the official signing of the proclamation.  LCA-GA thanks Governor Perdue for his continued dedication and support for the lung cancer community in Georgia.
