Join fellow survivors, caregivers and advocates in Washington, DC from September 27-28* for the 2017 National Advocacy Summit! At a time when access to healthcare is a priority for every American, our combined voices will help ensure that the fight against lung cancer remains a priority among our national policymakers.
At the Summit, you will come together with others impacted by lung cancer to learn how to effectively share your story and educate Members of Congress about the disparities that exist for lung cancer. Hands-on training with distinct calls to action will make you a strong advocate for increased research funding and better and affordable healthcare.
*Note there will a Pre-Summit Webinar Training in early September. Additional details will be sent to registered participants via email.
Who Should Attend?
We need patients, survivors, caregivers and loved ones with an unwavering commitment to fight lung cancer. No prior experience is needed, just your story. As representatives from each of the fifty states, we'll make our voices heard on Capitol Hill.

Registration Process & Fee
We welcome all motivated individuals impacted by lung cancer to join us, though we offer priority to lung cancer patients, survivors and caregivers. The non-refundable registration fee is $175. We will contact you when we have received your registration and are charging your credit card the required $175 registration fee.
Hotel & Travel
You are responsible for your travel to and from Washington, DC; however, we will cover your one-night shared hotel room* for the night of September 27, 2017 at the Omni Shoreham. Some exceptions may be made with prior approval when travel requires an earlier arrival or later departure.
*If you can pay for your hotel room, we would graciously accept that offer, as this would allow more scholarships for others in need. Please let us know during the registration process. The room costs are $255 single or double per night.

We do not want costs to be a barrier for your attendance. We offer a limited number of scholarships for those requiring travel assistance to attend the Summit. Please indicate if you are applying for a scholarship* during the registration process. We will provide registration confirmation and any scholarship funding based on need within 7 business days.
